It is important to meet with the client to go over each question and respond accordingly.  The client was the one who was actually involved in the incident, and sometimes the spouse is also involved in the case, or the holder of the insurance policy for the driver involved in the collision.

As the client is the one actually signing the Verification indicating that the answers and responses are true and correct, it is important that they understand each and every question being asked them.  It is also important to obtain the records and information requested in a timely fashion and items such as driver’s license, personal insurance card and tax returns can be brought to the meeting.    As a client, you should not be afraid or uneasy about meeting with the attorney or paralegal to review discovery as they have your best interests and will guide and help you through the process.  Do not hesitate to ask any questions as no question is ever a bad question.  Please know that your attorney and his/her staff are on your side and you can rest easy knowing that you can be honest and forthcoming and you will be represented in a just way.
